Starting Wage: Wages Based on Experience

Responsibilities: The Counter Sales Representative is responsible for building and maintaining strong customer relationships, driving sales and fulfilling customer needs in an efficient and professional manner. Must be able to perform duties with or without unreasonable accommodation:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with customers and providing a high level of customer service to all customers.
• Assisting customers by taking their orders, pulling items, and billing them accordingly.
• Handling customer warranty claims and credit returns in a timely fashion by completing all appropriate documentation and processing procedures.
• Assisting customers in loading products/material into their vehicles when necessary.
• Assisting in the maintenance and presentation of all inventory and displays including stocking merchandise, facing shelves, organizing product, removing litter, dusting and cleaning shelves, etc.
• Assisting in inventory counts as needed.
• Continuously demonstrating a high-level of product knowledge of all Refricenter products.
• Providing the highest level of customer and technical service to our customers by: effectively meeting our customers’ needs, providing high level of technical expertise and product knowledge, properly providing quotes, promptly and accurately processing sales orders, researching products/services, properly answering questions and providing timely information and responses.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of air conditioning, heating and ventilation equipment at a wholesale distribution level.
• Proven success in sales and providing excellent customer service.
• Strong interpersonal skills including sales, problem solving and customer service.
• Must be proficient in the use of computers and have the ability to learn our sales software.

Preferred

• Minimum 1+ year experience in a Counter Sales role.
• Bachelor's or Associate's Degree preferred.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Experience in a wholesale HVAC equipment supply house preferred.
