General Position Summary

The Director of Business Development/Contract Manufacturing Sales is directly responsible for the discovery, engagement, contract negotiations, relationship management, project management and overall sales and profitability of contract manufacturing customers and opportunities via our factory.

We are currently seeking a Director of Business Development/Contract Manufacturing Sales to join our growing organization.

Essential Functions / Major Responsibilities

• Understands the basics of contract manufacturing and targeting potential customers
• Owns identifying and engaging potential customers that fit the factories capabilities
• Builds proposals and bid packages that provide benefits to the client
• Drives the project management between the customer and the factory to product release
• Maintains the customer relationships always building on opportunities current and future
• Delivers regular status updates and financial reporting to the Executive Team

• Ability to balance multiple projects and competing priorities

• Ability to deliver results with minimal supervision or guidance
• Ability to travel up to 45% of the time
• Strong selling skills

Education and Experience Requirements

• Customer Business Development related degree desired
• Minimum 5 years of customer business development related roles
• Experience with MS Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Sales Force)
• Contract development and execution experience preferred
• Preferred background with Chinese contract manufacturing and global clients outside of China
