About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Tax Associate - Sales/Leasing Tax in Commercial Capital Operations as part of the Wholesale Lending Operations division. Learn more about the career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com

In this role, you will:

• Assist in performing multistate tax research on leasing issues.
• Assist in gathering and maintaining sales tax exemption certificates.
• Prepare tax returns for miscellaneous taxes.

Required Qualification:

• 6+ months of Corporate Tax experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ months of multistate sales and use tax experience in the leasing industry
• Familiarity with Vertex sales tax solutions
• Proficient Excel skills to perform technical analysis of large volumes of data
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
• Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills
