Soul of Adventure (SA) has an immediate full-time position available for outdoor enthusiasts looking to join a dynamic, growing team. If you are highly motivated, resourceful, and a people-oriented outbound Inside Sales Representative with experience in the outdoor apparel /accessory market, we want to meet you! Candidates must be based in the South Florida market, and knows as a passionate, positive, hardworking, self-starting, success-seeking individual who demands greatness in their work.

While the role is primarily an Inside Sales position, the incumbent should be prepared to travel locally for up to 30% of the time to visit key accounts and attend seasonal trade show.

Our Inside Sales Representative will drive revenue through an existing book of business while continuing to grow new accounts (surf shops, outdoor independents, etc).

What you will do:

The inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales. Specific accountabilities include:

  • Source and respond to new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound cold calls, emails and customer acquisition platforms like Faire
  • Perform all phases of the sales cycle including follow up with all inbound leads, identify decision makers, qualify opportunities, overcome objections, prepare quotes, and close the deal.
  • Grow and existing and new book of business and deliver against targets
  • Team with marketing and product to provide customer feedback, build pipeline and close deals
  • The ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced, fun and growing team environment.
  • Follows up with customers regarding order status, shipments and overall satisfaction.
  • Manage customer information and deliver regular sales, market and customer information and reporting

A little about you:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related preferred
  • Demonstrated experience delivering on quota as an outdoor, apparel or specialty outbound inside sales, preferably in a high growth business
  • Persuasive communication skills and demonstrate a professional sales style. Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, including strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with multiple levels of seniority
  • Experience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM

Location: This role has the flexibility to be either fully remote or a hybrid work arrangement but must be based in Fort Lauderdale or south Florida, with flexibility to travel and drive.
