The MLTC/MAP District Manager establishes and maintains business relationships with our participating providers, as well as Community/Faith Based Organizations. The MLTC/MAP District Manager is responsible for achieving the corporate membership targets for Integrated Products and MLTC: Senior Health Partners (SHP) MLTC and Complete Care (CC) MAP. The MLTC/MAP District Manager works in a team setting responsible for the overall development, recommendation, and implementation of Integrated Product and MLTC marketing strategies, as well as the identification/development of critical referral sources, whose mission and needs are focused on adults facing difficulties with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs), and their LTC needs. Additionally, the MLTC/MAP District Manager will maintain and direct an efficient, well trained, and effective Account Manager and Marketing Specialist team. Additionally, he/she will execute sales programs and strategy in accordance with approved policies, while managing marketing activities to meet or exceed MLTC/MAP enrollment goals. The MLTC/MAP District Manager will oversee the management of a top tiered network of Licensed Home Care Agencies (LHCSAs) within their territory/borough(s), to build and maintain relationships for Integrated Products (MAP) and MLTC with the goal of keeping the Company and their Partners highly visible as an option for long-term care delivery. The MLTC/MAP District Manager will ensure his/her team acts as the primary point of contact for all top tiered partner issue resolution, through diligent communication with multiple internal departments. This position reports to the Senior Manager of MLTC/MAP and/or Regional Director(s) and covers a territory throughout NYC and surrounding counties (the five boroughs, Westchester, and Nassau) as needed. Occasional overtime and weekend hours may be required. This position will require a mix of field time, as well as time within the corporate and/or community based Healthfirst offices.

Marketing Activities
Lead a team of marketing professionals (Account Managers and Marketing Specialists) to develop a broad base of agencies, services, and professionals as referrals sources, to ensure Integrated Products and MLTCs growth position within the market area.
Work in collaboration with the Sales Managers within other Healthfirst lines of business, as well as the Community Engagement Manager(s), to coordinate marketing schedules and events for the participating facilities/organizations.
Monitor referral trends to determine reasons for enrollment, reasons for selecting other care options and denials, while sharing the findings routinely with the direct team and management.
Conduct educational sessions/orientations to key staff members of participating providers
Manage a network of agencies, services, and professionals as referral sources, including but not limited to:
Licensed Home Care Services Agencies (LHCSA), Certified Home Health Agency (CHHA), Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORC) and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHC), Hospitals, Community Based Organizations (CBO), Nursing and Rehab Facilities (SNF), Religious Institutions, Social Workers, Internal Staff, etc.
Provide insight into competitor trends by understanding the competition and being able to create plans that surpass the competition in shared territories and facilities.
Work in collaboration with the Marketing Department to ensure the message and creative of the materials are tailored to the appropriate audience.
Work in collaboration with other key departments that support the MLTC/MAP product lines.
Deliver presentations, as well as, routinely audit presentations, daily Plan of Action (POA), End of Day Sales Reporting (EOD) and operational account performance for each Account Manager and Marketing Specialist.
Provide feedback to the Product Development team as it pertains to benefit enhancements and market intelligence.
Work closely with the Senior Manager, Director(s) and/or VP to develop strategies and goals.
Develop and revise marketing materials and coordinate changes that will support an understanding and trust in the program and support enrollment.
Assist the Training Department on educating existing Sales staff.
Work in collaboration with support staff on creating ad hoc reports.
Assist in the preparation of annual marketing report, updates to the annual marketing plan, and make continuous recommendations to support strategic plans and growth.
Visit existing hospitals with Sales Managers of other Healthfirst Lines of Business, to facilitate a transitional plan for prospects in need of our long term care products.
Maintain and demonstrate knowledge of all product lines to educate providers and consumers and pass recurrent examinations per compliance and regulatory requirements.
Assisting with specific top tiered accounts, for weekly/biweekly follow up meetings, or per Senior Manager/Directors request.
Identifying new providers and referral sources, while meeting departmental guidelines.
Develop detailed marketing and growth plans for tiered agencies to improve on clinical quality of serviced membership, while ensuring mutual census growth for improved Quality Incentive payout potential.
Must meet monthly referral and conversion goals per department guidelines.
Recognize cultural sensitivity and needs of servicing communities.

Territory Management
Manage multiple providers and direct reports within a geographic area, for constant interaction with all.
Reviewing and tracking referrals obtained from referral sources and direct team members by:
Providing periodic provider reports to track and inform referral statuses.
Communicating with internal departments to assure referral conversion.
Utilize Microsoft office tools (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and other internal applications to track and report on referral sources as needed.
Meet minimum expectation of required provider visits as per departmental guidelines.
Conduct administrative activities in assigned Community Offices (COs).

Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
Field or sales background and experience working with minimal supervision
Drivers License and ability to travel within the service area

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare and/or Managed Long-Term Care (MLTC) product lines and understanding of the values of Integrated Care
Bachelors Degree
Bilingual

Greater New York City Area (NY, NJ, CT residents): $98,400 - $142,205

All Other Locations (within approved locations): $84,400 - $125,545

As a candidate for this position, your salary and related elements of compensation will be contingent upon your work experience, education, licenses and certifications, and any other factors Healthfirst deems pertinent to the hiring decision.
