Professional Services Delivery Sales and Service Tech in Lexington, KY
- Part-time position, up to 29 hours/week
- Flexible schedule built around candidate's availability will be set week to week
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Regular and reliable onsite attendance
2. Complies and implements all applicable Company policies and procedures.
3. Responsible to research manufacturer and vendor product information to obtain best pricing and service in order to recommend to meet company’s goals and objectives regarding growth and profitability.
4. Responsible to maintain current coding, pricing of all inventory, and product mix, for efficient department operation and company growth.
5. Responsible to assist appropriate departments for resolution of account payables, repair and warranty work issues, training of staff on equipment, and assistance with bid proposals.
6. Responsible to generate, review, and submit inventory reports for efficient overall company operation.
7. Responsible to keep credit hours that are appropriate to renew licensure every other year.
8. Handle calls regarding service and repair.
9. Performs in home assessments on required patients accurately to ensure “in the home” use.
10. Delivers and trains patient/caregiver on usage of equipment.
11. Troubleshoots problems and initiates corrective action.
12. Delivers equipment as required in accordance with industry standards and applicable governmental regulations including U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) and U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) guidelines.
13. Report equipment hazards and/or products incidents as required in accordance with company policies and procedures.
14. Educate patients in proper use and care of applicable equipment in a home setting. Get all appropriate delivery paperwork completed accurately.
15. Document all information necessary to ensure reimbursement for all appropriate equipment, products, and services.
16. Assume on-call responsibilities during non-business hours.
17. Assist with inventory management including year end inventory reporting.
18. Responsible to receive all purchase orders.
19. All other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Experience in home medical equipment field
2. Courses pertaining to rehab
3. Effective verbal and written communication skills
4. Knowledgeable in all major insurance carrier reimbursement guidelines
5. and eligibility for coverage by third party payers
6. Must carry personal liability car insurance with a minimum limit of $100,000.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
2 years experience in DME industry
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
1. Occasionally lift/move up to 300 pounds
2. Ability to stoop, bend over, kneel, sit or stand for extended periods of times as needed to meet customer’s needs
3. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms, and talk and hear. The employee is required to sit and stand.
4. Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
5. This position requires the ability to drive an automobile
6. Must be 21 years of age to comply with company auto insurance regulations.
