The primary goals of the Sales Coordinator are:

· Filing and organizing all LNR and Group files

· Drafting of LNR and Group contracts

· Blocking and servicing all Meeting Room clients

· Input and updates of Group and LNR booking information into SalesPro

· Entering of all group related rooming lists, CC authorizations, routing instructions, etc.

· Routine account maintenance to include running of reports, awarding monthly IHG Reward points and invoicing of all Direct Bill accounts

Locations: The main base of operations will be at Holiday Inn Express but will be working closely with the Staybridge as well.

Daily:

Create file folders for any new group/LNR accounts and enter account information into Sales Pro

Complete any needed agreements for DOS approval

Weekly:

Run the following reports on Thursday mornings

Manager Flash w/ forecast through the end of the month

Detailed Availability (from today -15 days) select “Occupancy”

Housekeeping Forecast (from today -15 days)

Under Reports-Blocks and Groups-Group Pickup (from today -15 days)

General Requirements

  • Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Maintain regular attendance in compliance with IHG Hotel Standards, as required by scheduling, which will vary according to the needs of the hotel.
  • Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform and nametag.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
