Charlotte Pipe is the nation’s top manufacturer of cast iron and plastic pipe and fittings. There is an opening at our Corporate Headquarters for an Inside Sales Representative. We are looking for an individual ready to join our fast-paced and innovative team. Excelling in this role lays the foundation for future growth.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain professional relationships with customers, contractors, regional managers, and reps
• Respond to all inquiries/customer requests professionally and efficiently
• Schedule customer shipments and other job-related functions using SAP software
• Coordinate customer shipments using general business rules
• Communicate and empathize with customers when needed
• Understand and respect the order fulfillment process
• Identify process improvement opportunities

Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to use appropriate business communication, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal and relational skills
• Knowledge of or the ability to learn SAP functionality
• Positive and helpful attitude to foster relationships with team members and other associates throughout the company
• Capability to learn plastic and cast iron products
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Bachelor’s degree required
