Job Summary:
As a Wide Format Printer Outside Sales Hunter, you will be responsible for aggressively seeking out and capturing new business opportunities within the wide format printing industry. Your primary focus will be on selling wide format printers and related solutions to potential customers in an assigned geographical area. This role demands a tenacious and results-driven individual with a deep understanding of the wide format printing market, excellent sales skills, and the ability to thrive in a competitive environment.

  • Compensation is base + uncapped commission. Pay shown is including commissions for a rep who is meeting the minimum goals. Additional bonuses/commissions are available for exceeding sales goals.Additional compensation is available directly from manufacturers.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospecting and Lead Generation:Identify and research potential customers in need of wide format printing solutions.
Utilize various methods, including cold calling, networking, referrals, and industry events, to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
Actively seek out new business opportunities by targeting specific industries and markets.

Consultative Selling and Presentations:Conduct in-depth needs analysis to understand customer requirements and challenges.
Offer customized wide format printing solutions to meet customer needs, including printers, software, consumables, and services.
Deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase the capabilities and advantages of wide format printers.

Relationship Building:Establish and nurture strong relationships with potential and existing customers.
Regularly follow up with prospects and clients to provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries, and build trust.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as technical support and customer service, to ensure customer satisfaction.

Sales Negotiation and Closing:Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve win-win agreements.
Overcome objections and effectively communicate the value proposition of wide format printing solutions.
Close sales deals and ensure smooth transitions to the implementation and support teams.

Market Analysis and Competitor Insights:Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities related to wide format printing.
Conduct market analysis to identify new opportunities, target verticals, and develop strategies to gain a competitive edge.
Provide feedback to management on customer needs, market demands, and product improvements.

Requirements:

  • Proven success in outside sales, preferably in the wide format printing industry or related field.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities, with a focus on building long-term customer relationships.
  • In-depth knowledge of wide format printing technologies, including printers, software, and related products.
  • Ability to understand customer requirements and provide tailored solutions.
  • Self-motivated, results-driven, and able to work independently.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools for pipeline management and reporting.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $77,000.00 per year
