GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Inside Sales and Foodservice Representative will provide support to the B2B Breadmaking sales team and Director of Sales by collecting and analyzing designated sales data within Salesforce, monitoring B2B prices, and managing all Foodservice contracts internally. The ISFR will also work collaboratively with Marketing by providing designated timely, accurate market and sales data regularly. This position will have responsibility to work independently and with moderate level of supervision required to meet various deadlines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Monitor sales prices and price changes for the Breadmaking B2B group. This also includes the monitoring and coordination of price changes in Salesforce, managing bids from Foodservice Sales Managers and Foodservice brokers to quote prices, and track all wins/losses and report findings to Marketing.
  • Helps gather, analyze, and present sales data and pricing routinely to Marketing.
  • Updates and maintains sales and marketing programs for Foodservice and Distributor accounts.
  • Prepares reports, including charts and graphs, and submit analytical presentations to BM B2B management and the sales group.
  • Sales Quality Control by acting as a liaison between Customer Service and Sales/Technical Services related to lead generation, samples distribution and follow-up, customer satisfaction and conflict resolution.
  • Some travel with Commercial team to observe customer environments and establish relationships.

Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills Has the ability to read and interpret instruction and procedure manuals. Has the ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Has the ability to speak effectively with customers or employees. The ability to understand Spanish and/or French would be beneficial.

Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability Has the ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should be familiar and capable of using Salesforce (CRM) and all Microsoft Office tools. Strong presentation skills are preferred. Having a basic knowledge and understanding of an ERP operating system (Oracle and SAP) is preferred.

Other Qualifications Must be able to travel 20% of the time.
