This position, located within the Rite-Hite's Distribution Company, is responsible for managing all Rite-Hite University operations. This incumbent will oversee all items related to Rite-Hite’s Sales Training and Development Programs for Salespeople and Sales Coordinators to ensure their success as Rite-Hite Sales Representatives. This incumbent is also responsible for the day-to-day management and execution of the Rite-Hite University curriculum as well as ensuring the successful training of the participants resulting in well prepared sales professionals who are entering into their respective territories.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Schedule, organize, and track all aspects of the Sales Training and Development Programs, including, but not limited to, participant registration, pre and post course participant communications, participant prerequisite fulfillment, participant logistical schedules, event transportation, guest speaker and operating company scheduling, entertainment, meals, and hospitality events.

Evolve and evaluate the overall Rite-Hite University programs including the 3-month Sales Coordinator Program, 6 major modules, various product training, Sales Technology courses and future courses that reoccur multiple times a year and may overlap.

Design, develop, and interface with all training related to the Rite-Hite University.

Manage relationships with Rite-Hite operating companies, outside resources and key stakeholders to develop new and enhanced curriculum Programs within Rite-Hite University.

Collaborate with all Rite-Hite contributors to ensure the Sales Training and Development Programs are inclusive of current training standards, marketing strategies, product information, and sales tools.

Continuously improve the Rite-Hite University programs and create future programs to ensure existing salespeople are supplied with enough support and relevant knowledge to aid in maintaining high retention rates year after year.

Select and implement outside services to compliment the training courses within the Rite-Hite University as deemed appropriate.

Understand and clearly communicate current and new technology for sales

Manage day-to-day activities of attendees throughout their training term(s), in particular the Sales Coordinators which includes, but is not limited to maintaining good employee relations and morale, identifying, and overcoming roadblocks to success, and notifying the attendee's manager of potential need for corrective action.

Complete weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports to be presented to the management team regarding the progress, success, and areas of opportunity with the Rite-Hite Sales Development and Coordinator Programs.

Collaborate with Rite-Hite University stakeholders and contributors to oversee and lead the strategic alignment of the Sales Training and Development Programs to ensure alignment with Rite-Hite’s overall vision.

Develop, maintain, and execute “follow up” systems for salespeople and Rite-Hite University contributors to capitalize on untapped or under-tapped opportunities.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

An up-to-date knowledge of all company products, as well as sales tactics, account management practices, territory management tools, and be able to identify areas of opportunity.

The ability to multi-task, provide high attention to detail, and be organized.

An entrepreneurial drive is needed to set new learning standards to take advantage of Rite-Hite HQ’s brand-new demonstration/education areas and continue to evolve the program alongside our current training tools.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Approximately 20% travel in the field with sales personnel, when courses are not in session. Up to 10% overnight domestic travel.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) from four-year college or university is required. At least 5 years of management experience required. Sales experience is strongly preferred.
