Job Description


You’ll join our Xplor Pay vertical and the team that develops a complete range of payments solutions including point-of-sale, e-commerce, mobile, in-app, recurring billing, e-invoicing, and auto-reconciliation. Our cloud-based solutions allow for seamless, secure processing and help our customers increase revenue, so they become more profitable.


We are looking for an enthusiastic Product Enablement Manager to join a growing Product organization! In this role, you will be responsible for working with our sales channel to help them create confidence in selling the marketplace of products we offer to small to medium size merchants. The role will be focused on increasing the number of sales reps successfully selling integrated software solutions like Point of Sale, Invoicing, and Mobile Payment Apps, among other adjacent merchant services products.


To thrive in this role, you will need to create a strong technical understanding of our products. You will need to create strong partnerships and build trust across our sales distribution channels. You will need to take ownership of understanding which small to medium business (SMB) markets our products win best. Apply that knowledge in the form of productive coaching for reps, building and providing playbooks for each market or vertical, and providing demos where needed for each product. You will also help consult SMBs on how to modify processes and procedures to allow the products to work most effectively as a part of their go-forward success.


To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • Deep understanding of each and every feature of our software solutions, their use cases, and the problems they target to solve
  • Become a recognized subject matter expert on the functions and uses of our Xplor product offerings, especially point-of-sale technologies for restaurant, retail, salon, and service businesses.
  • Willing to spend time talking to merchants, and visiting small to medium businesses physically to develop a deep understanding of how those businesses are best set up to operate efficiently
  • Ability to understand sales compensation models, and how to consult sales reps on how to price to monetize the value our solutions offer
  • Deliver a compelling demo of our software solutions that tailors to the audience from both a buyer and technical user perspective
  • Deliver documented and thoughtful consultative selling approach playbooks for verticals to help reps with understanding how to win in markets, and specific market segments using our product marketplace
  • Help reps both win specific deals, but also how to win deals on their own
  • Help provide support and assistance in complex opportunities including (not limited to) multi-location opportunities, franchises, and large business accounts.
  • Aid in determining key features needed to win a great target addressable market with examples to fuel prioritization efforts
  • Deep understanding of how to consult a small to medium business, or set of businesses, to help them think about using the software solutions we offer in the future within their processes and operations.

Qualifications


  • 2+ years' experience in a sales or product role for a software, or POS product offering
  • Experience in field and/or inside sales role is advantageous
  • Experience in financial services, merchant acquiring, or related fintech industries is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience developing playbooks for sales agents to win in specific markets or sub-markets
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) with the ability to interact with and understand technical subjects and emerging technologies
  • Solid critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills with exceptional multi-tasking and organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships, interface directly and effectively with internal/external partners, negotiate with and influence cross-functional teams
  • Ability to motivate sales teams, set and manage expectations, ensure accuracy without sacrificing speed or timeliness, giving and receiving constructive feedback resulting in positive change
  • Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data to make and explain decisions while managing multiple initiatives at different stages, prioritizing effectively, and managing time wisely to achieve objectives
  • Ability to communicate clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, demonstrating a passion for our vision and the business problems we solve for clients
  • Accountable, dependable, responsive, and self-motivated
  • The average base salary pay range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000
  • May be eligible for a discretionary bonus
