JOB SUMMARY

We’re looking for a Property Management Sales Professional to come to work with our team. An excellent professional for this role has the ability to: reach sales goals, use their interpersonal skills to gain and keep customers delighted, maintain an understanding of our products, and continuously improve and refine sales techniques. With your knowledge of carpet, LVT, vinyl, countertops, cabinets, tile, appliances, and more, you’ll be the go-to professional for your list of clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

A typical day: When a new request from a customer comes in, you’ll pick out some samples and grab some catalogues to find products that meet the customer’s request. Then, you’ll hit the road and visit the customer on-site to see what you’re working with in person. This is where you’ll check out the space, take measurements, and work with the customer to find exact products that meet their needs. When you come back to the office, you’ll put together the bid and start working with your next client!

When you’re not taking care of your current customer list, you’ll be on the phone and on the road speaking to potential customers to add to your list.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

In this role, we’re on the lookout for someone who preferably has prior knowledge about the rental industry and apartment-specific products. Because this position focuses so much on your relationship with property managers, your personality and being positive will be your most important skill.
