POSITION SUMMARY

An Outside Sales Representative is responsible for establishing contact with existing customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. They will monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Travel throughout the territory calling on customers and prospects on your own and regular joint sales calls with factory RSM's and/or our Service Manager.
• Assist with coordination of trade shows and manning the booth
• Be available for occasional overnights for company meetings, sales and product seminars, etc.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• This position does not require supervisory

REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES

• Must be able to select and size pumping equipment, power transmission equipment, variable speed drives and motors, and related equipment and accessories.
• You will be interfacing directly with customers, prospects, inside sales staff, and vendors on a regular basis via personal visits, telephone, email, and Teams Meetings.
• Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Office

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

The physical requirements for this position are typical for a mobile employee including constant movement within a wide range of office environments, climbing, standing, reaching, bending, kneeling, stooping and lifting 50+ pounds, and driving a motor vehicle for periods of time.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The work environment for this position includes the constant requirement to operate a motor vehicle and occasional exposure to loud noise and outside temperatures of heat/cold. The environment may occasionally include exposure to moving mechanical parts, moving vehicles, electrical current, working on scaffolding / high places, and exposure to high heat or chemicals.
