Lead team of insurance professionals within designated area of responsibility. Implement strategies and protocols within the team to support McGriff mission, vision, and goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Serve as subject matter expert for questions and issues related to assigned area. Provide training and education related to area of expertise.
2. Develop and present material to stakeholders to share the McGriff story, including our capabilities and strengths in serving as a trusted advisor to small business and private insurance clients.
3. Manage insurance teammembers, including coaching, monitoring, setting goals, completing evaluations, enforcing accountability, and developing strengths that lead to success.
4. Build and maintain relationships across internal business units and third party partners to support success within designated area of responsibility.
5. Monitor sales activity and success; present data and analysis to leadership.
6. Ensure excellence in team operational efficiencies, adherence to compliance standards and company procedures, and attainment of the firm's goals.
7. Proactively identify challenges, provide support, and follow through to resolution.
8. Remain abreast of current trends in small business and personal lines insurance sales and operations in order to support a future-focused department.

QUALIFICATIONS
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's Degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
2. Five years of experience in insurance, financial services, or related field
3. Highly effective written / verbal communication and facilitation skills
4. Proven ability to act with responsiveness, urgency and professionalism in all matters while prioritizing responsibilities and proactively accomplishing goals
5. Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience leading and coaching others
2. Knowledge of insurance specific systems and applications
