Now Hiring - Group Sales Manager (Lakeland, FL) in Lakeland, FL

Responsible for Group Sales and Service for Tigers Spring Training and Lakeland Flying Tigers regular and post-season.

Maximize ticket sales revenue from current and new group ticket purchasers for Tigers Spring Training and Lakeland Flying Tigers. Assist in the development and execution of a yearly sales plan to attract new and existing Detroit Tigers and Lakeland Flying Tiger season tickets, group tickets, hospitality tickets, sponsorship sales and private events. Oversee existing full-time Group Sales staff as well as directly assist in driving ticket revenue and fulfilment. Conduct daily cold calls to prospective clients. Holding weekly meetings off site and on site with potential clients. Responsible for updating and maintaining customer database. Handle incoming calls from sales prospects and existing clients. Actively research and prospect new sales leads. Work to generate new leads and creative ways to sell tickets and sponsorships. Oversee continual sales/service training to Group Sales staff including the understanding and use of technology such as ProVenue, ProVenue Force CRM, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to help their sales and customer service efforts. Responsible for assisting in the hiring and training of new sales staff Provide detailed retention reports on a weekly basis for management Coordinate existing group and hospitality ticket experiences and sponsorship sales and fulfillment and implement new incentive programs year to year Assist in the planning of group and sponsor events and exclusive offers throughout the year Resolve customer complaints and provide detailed communication to all customer requests Work with other departments to execute large scale group outings for current season ticketholders Schedule sales staff Assist in the establishment and allocation of ticket inventory Create aggressive monthly sales campaigns and contests to drive revenues from all sales opportunities Develop and oversee monthly sales and service training for sales staff in conjunction with Detroit Tigers staff in Detroit. Work game day events to service and assist customers with redemption of special ticket and sponsorship related items as well as any service issues or concerns Other duties as assigned

Outdoors and office environment. Position will need to work in various weather conditions. Position is required to work evenings, weekends, holidays, etc.
