Objective of the Role:

The sales resource will be dedicated to selling Benesta into GYN offices. The current sales team is focused on Core business with UroGyn in hospitals and does not hold GYN/office relationships. The purpose of role is to establish clearer sales models for new products, customer requirements for moving procedures to the office, with new call points (different surgeon, different point of care/business - office vs hospital/contracts).

Additional responsibilities include:

Prospect and qualify potential Benesta opportunities. Present and secure evaluations of the Benesta product. Close Benesta sales opportunities in their dedicated territories. Support qualified opportunities in Core representative territories. Train Core sales team on the Benesta product. Work with marketing to develop effective messaging, strategies, and key account / COE relationships. Identify opportunities for product line expansion and work with marketing to give feedback on product development.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of medical device B2B sales experience. (Presidents Club and/or Rookie of Year, Rep of Year).
  • Travel percentage expectation: 65%
  • Documented top 20% achievement (full year)
  • Excellent sales training experience.
  • At least one promotion from initial hire from first job out of college.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines.
  • Strong relationship orientation and strategic thinking skills.

Desired experience:

  • GYN, Urology, or Pelvic Health related knowledge.
  • Experience selling devices to physician offices and/or hospitals.
  • Experience selling new, breakthrough technology to surgeons.
