POSITION SUMMARY

The role of a retail sales associate at Best Connections Plus is to forge connections with customers while, communicating Best Connections Plus’s brand values through insightful product knowledge and a happy optimistic outlook.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Welcome customers in the store
• Provide accurate information about products and services to customers through effective sales skills
• Accurately cross-sell and match products with customer needs to achieve customer satisfaction
• Build lasting customer relationships through positive support to resolve issues and customer complaints
• Maintain inventory levels within the store
• Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies established by the company and or management in the store
• Team up with co-workers to achieve store goals
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) system (Apple Apple Point, Apple Apple Point Card)
• Meet or exceed sales goals each day achieve management goals for staff turnover
• Strive for the highest possible ratings by consistently doing your own job and your own business work
• Be open to feedback, give feedback on products and service, product information, and service problems to both the company and customer.
• Be knowledgeable about products and services to provide customers a good experience both individually and through a team
• Follow proper handling procedures of merchandise and maintain inventory levels within the store.
• Maintain cleanliness of store areas, shelves, racks, etc. including their appearance before customers. Ensure shelves are stocked appropriately for the day’s sales. Cleanliness of stockroom at the end of the day if required for processing sales.
• Meet or exceed store performance goals each day achieve management goals for staff turnover.
• Strive for high levels of individual sales, family sales, social media sales and online sales scores. Build your team's online reputation by providing accurate online reviews of your customer service, sales and experience. Recognize key influencers in your community and work with them to build your reputation online. Promote your team's online presence on social media platforms like Instagram, Facebook and YouTube.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be able to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime when needed. The schedule is flexible but needs to be Monday thru Friday from 9am-6pm with some weekend availability as needed. The position has 1 weekend shift per month (SAT/SUN) which is required every month. A candidate who is unwilling or unable to work these shifts will not be considered for this position. This position requires constant lifting of merchandise weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance. The position requires constant bending, twisting, reaching overhead as well as frequent stooping over merchandise boxes reaching up into them from below. The position requires frequent use of hand tools including a variety of small hand tools as well as an ability to use basic math skills including addition, subtraction and division. The position requires regular use of hand tools including a variety of small hand tools as well as regular use of a calculator and other electronic devices such as a cell phone or computer. The position requires regular use of a forklift or other similar heavy machinery when necessary to fulfill customer requirements for product availability during certain periods of the year based on local weather conditions.

Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
