We are currently seeking an energetic individual for the role of Junior Strategic Account Manager to join our Sales team traveling in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Iowa. In this role, you will deliver value-added genetic solutions and programs while increasing sales volume.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop an understanding and value of all Semex products, services and solutions and their corresponding price so that they can eventually articulate Semex’s benefits in a manner meaningful to a customer.
  • Maintain and increase sales volume with established accounts and aggressively seeking new customers to ensure profitable sales growth in the assigned area.
  • Learn a fundamental proficiency in all Semex Solutions: Ai24, Elevate, Embryos, IVF, Semex Go & Semex Works
  • Effectively communicate and listen to the customer’s needs showing the value of our products and programs.
  • Utilize Semex sales tools and technology to develop and grow partnerships with our customers.
  • Collaborate with customers in seeking solutions to help their operations be more profitable.


Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree with focus on animal science, agricultural business or a closely related field with sales experience preferred but not required.
  • Considerable travel will be required.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Self-motivated, strong work ethic and a desire to acquire new technical skills.
  • In depth genetic knowledge and familiarity with dairy management software programs, preferred but not required.
