The Four Seasons Hotel Nashville seeks a Corporate and Travel Industry Sales Manager to join our talented team! Don't miss this unique opportunity to be part of the world's leading luxury hotel company!

This position reports to the Senior Director of Sales and is responsible for promoting and securing individual leisure travel business . Our Corporate & Travel Industry Sales Manager will promote and sell to transient segments primarily in the US, UK, and Latin American markets, generate hotel/resort awareness through direct phone sales, direct sales calls, fam trips and tradeshows. The ideal candidate for the C TISM is self-motivated, has an analytical mindset, excellent negotiation skills and strong decision-making abilities. They are accountable for ensuring quotas and goals are met and to ensure that direct sales activities are focused on generating the highest possible RevPAR for the overall success of the hotels. This position requires a high degree of independent judgement and discretion on decision and managing confidential information.

The Four Seasons Hotel Nashville is part of a Shared-Services collection with the Four Seasons Hotel Denver. While this position is not a shared role, embracing and collaborating within the Shared-Services model is essential. Including managing existing synergies and resources in Public Relations, Reservations, Revenue Management, and Sales.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Promote and sell to assigned market in geographic region.

  • Develop accounts (new and existing) by mapping specific business and buying tendencies.

  • Maintain organized and professional plan for correspondence and follow up.

  • Generate hotel awareness through direct phone sales, direct sales calls, trade shows and networking for all assigned segments.

  • Work closely with sales and marketing team to solicit travel and create business development plans independently.

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills, acute attention to detail, proven negotiation skills, strong organizational and time management skills and proven record with positive relationships amongst worldwide sales teams and clients alike.

  • Conduct tours of property while informing of all hotel s ervices available, entertain customers on property, during site inspections, pre-planning trips, and program operation when appropriate .

  • Work closely with Reservations Department to plan detailed itineraries and preferences to exceed guest and travel agent expectation .

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Hospitality Management Degree qualification is preferred, however, not essential with relevant experience.
  • Luxury hotel Sales preferred (minimum of 3 years) or 3 – 5 years operational hotel experience
  • Proven sales track records a plus
  • Proven leadership within the luxury hotel market.
  • Must be willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and be willing to accept assignments on as need basis, to promote teamwork. This may include some evenings, weekends, and holidays.
