Commercial Insurance Account Manager in King of Prussia, PA

The Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative/Account Manager is responsible for providing strategic and tactical consulting and account management support on an assigned book of business, retain current book of business, round out accounts by obtaining additional lines, build and maintain strong business relationships.
Responsibilities of the Commercial Insurance Customer Insurance Representative/Account Manager include but are not
limited to:
- Best in class customer service to clients and their employees with a proactive renewal approach and being accountable with any client issue.
- Serve as primary operations liaison between insurance company and clients.
- Interface effectively and confidently with senior management of clients and/or prospects, representing the insurance company in the highest professional manner.
- Schedule and attend client meetings along with managing partner.
- Handle underwriting and funding issues and strategies.
- Managing renewals and marketing efforts and take lead role in carrier selection and/or financial negotiations.
- Renew and update client coverage data in AMS360, management system.
- Round out accounts by obtaining additional lines of coverage as well as placing accounts with other divisions.
- Prepare applications, proposals, make presentation to clients.
- Billing clients and issuing COIs and ID cards.
- Request and process endorsements.
.Qualifications for the Commercial Insurance/Account Manager
- Maintains a current PA Property and Casualty insurance license.
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent experience in the insurance industry required.
- Extremely detailed oriented and service driven.
- Able to clearly and effectively communicate.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Commercial Insurance preferred.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel required; PowerPoint an Publisher desired.
- Organizational and time management skills to prioritize workloads to meet time sensitive deadlines required.
- Must have strong internal and external customer service skills, with the ability to develop sound client relationships with multiple clients.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting, financing, and funding approaches required.
- Must have the ability to prepare and present client presentations with clarity and understanding.
- Demonstrate professional, tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achiev objectives required and must have a demonstrated ability to instill confidence and comfort with clients.
- Must have the ability to travel by automobile.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
