We are currently hiring an Account Manager to join our team!

This position is located in the Pensacola office.

What to expect:

  • Serve as a primary contact to clients, carriers and producers for service needs.
  • Complete and submits applications and ensure timely receipt of quotes and policies. Prepare pre-renewal summaries of insurance, proposals, invoices, binders, certificates, ID cards, policies, endorsements, and other related items.
  • Review client contracts and endorse policies to meet requirements, process renewals, review audits of policies; verifies accuracy and facilitate corrections if needed.
  • Verify policy and policy change information, facilitating corrections when necessary.
  • Document all activity, phone calls, emails and correspondence in Applied Epic system.
  • Assists clients in submitting first report of claims; facilitates response from claims manager.
  • Daily follow-up on un-routed attachments, open activities, and other EPIC tasks.
  • Address incoming mail, email, fax and phone requests.
  • Assist with duties for co-workers when necessary. Occasional help with mail, reception, or other areas when needed.

Requirements

  • Active Florida Property and Casualty license 2-20 required. 4-40 considered.
  • High school graduate.
  • Minimum of 3 years agency or other relevant insurance experience.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to maintain cordial and professional relationships with others.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform accurate work, prioritize, and complete tasks in an efficient manner
  • Knowledge of insurance markets, insurance products and their application to business
  • Knowledge of insurance rating and underwriting procedures
  • Seeks to stay informed regarding industry information, new product information, legislation, coverages, and technology to continuously improve knowledge and performance
  • Familiarity with computer programs, including Word and Excel
  • Maintenance of license, by completing the State’s required number of continuing education credits to keep license in good standing
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with significant and frequent interruption
