Summary/Objective


This position will focus on business to business, door to door, and outside sales. Your primary focus will be small - medium size retail merchants. Responsibilities include prospecting for new clients, presenting our processing and technology solutions then closing the sale. This position will work to create symbiotic relationships with small business owners and continue to build our brand awareness in Hospitality Technology. Must have a passion for building relationships, closing business and ability to consistently meet and exceed sales expectations.


Essential Functions


  • Generate weekly and monthly sales with a passion to exceed quotas
  • Prepare individual presentations tailored to each potential merchant and their business needs
  • Prospect for your own leads to exceed expectations
  • Receive and convert inbound leads (once you’ve proven consistent closing track record)
  • Use in-house CRM to create and update contacts and deal status in your sales pipeline
  • Create cost benefit analyses for each merchant
  • Effectively demonstrate and and sell the company's overall product offerings and solutions
  • Develop, propose, execute, audit, optimize, and report on local business development goals; such as new area prospects, and other metrics as necessary related to growing area business
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to effectively complete the sales process
  • Conduct outbound communications to existing local clients and potential local clients via telephone, video chat, and email to maintain and grow partnerships
  • Field inbound calls from current or future clients to answer questions, explain policies and forms, account questions, etc.
  • Must be able to frequently travel within the local community with the potential of additional travel around the country

  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Outstanding time management skills with the ability to multitask
  • Ability to execute strategies and get results while meeting critical deadlines
  • Proven outside sales in high contact, short sales cycle, B2B sales model
  • Ability to overcome objections and keep the client onboard

Required Education and Experience


    • 2+ Years experience in B2B outside sales or equivalent
    • Payments Industry/Banking Experience preferred but not required
    • Bachelor's Degree, preferred not required
    • Experience in true consultative sales process and negotiating pricing
    • Skilled in Mac OS and G Suite
    • 1 year of customer service and relationship building
    • 1+ years of experience working in restaurants in positions such as management, server, or bartender
    • Experience working in a wide variety of restaurant types is a bonus
    • Experience with POS implementation or performing installations is a bonus
    • 1 year of sales experience preferred
    • Strong experience with MacOS, GSuite, and Microsoft products


Office Environment and Physical Demands
