Qualifications
- High School Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Professional communication, organization and writing skills
- Experience in Quoting and Marketing New and Existing accounts is preferred.
- Proficient in completing applications, determining proper coverage and carrier placement is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- 2-4 years Personal Lines Account Management experience preferred
- Solid background in using Applied Epic (Preferred), Excel and Microsoft Word
- Property and Casualty License Preferred; not required but must be willing to obtain
Responsibilities
- The Account Executive will provide a high level of sales support to the Producer and customer service to clients
- The position requires a significant degree of independent judgment and discretion in order to meet those service levels
- The Account Executive will assist in the production of new and renewal accounts in keeping with Agency and individual Producer goals and provide field service in support of Producer activities
- The Account Executive is responsible for assisting clients with service needs and making changes to existing accounts
- Please note that the duties below can vary based on the workflow of your local office
- Responds to client request for policy changes, billing inquiries and verification of coverage
- Ensures that these items are given to client in a timely manner
- Maintains follow-up and suspense file on outstanding orders, correspondence, claims, renewal expirations and follows up on overdue and suspense items
- Checks new and renewal policies and endorsements for accuracy in coverage
- Determines reasons for request for cancellations and acts to retain accounts
- If unable, secures Lost Policy Release and follows through to policy cancellation
- Participates in continuing professional development as required by state licensing requirements and Agency guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
