Paragon Consulting, Inc. is located in Cleveland, Ohio and is a Virtual First company. We have employees throughout the US and this position does allow for someone to work remote on a full-time basis.

As an Account Manager, you will work to develop successful relationships between Paragon and Paragon’s clients in every phase of the client lifecycle. You will foster these relationships by understanding clients’ expectations, motivations, needs, and desires along with organizational goals and success criteria. You will work with the client and delivery teams to understand pain points and opportunities in the client organization, develop long-term plans for client platform growth and evolution, define the scope of client engagements, and work with the VP of Client Services to deliver and explain Paragon’s services and solutions. The Account Manager will advocate for the client internally and ensure Paragon is consistently delivering value and exceeding client expectations.

Respoonsibilites include:

  • Promote Paragon’s image through attitude, professionalism, knowledge, client orientation, and responsiveness to client’s needs
  • Meet with client stakeholders on at least a quarterly basis to discuss the client’s needs, desires, business climate, challenges, and risks
  • Prepare, maintain, and present strategic and tactical plans on at least a quarterly basis to the client by identifying intersections between client needs and Paragon’s service offerings
  • Work with clients to develop vision and plans beyond their current Paragon engagements, ideally on a multi-year horizon
  • Demonstrate a deep knowledge of Paragon’s entire service offering and, when appropriate, share examples and case studies that will help support the client’s objectives
  • Build a good knowledge of the market (industry news, trends, best practices) and technical environment the client is operating in, which may include attending client presentations or training
  • Keep on top of emerging technologies within Paragon’s space
  • Define project scope, goals, assumptions, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the project team and stakeholders
  • Gather estimates for client engagements, coordinating with all essential Paragon and client stakeholders
  • Work with the VP of Client Services and the Sales team to articulate the motivations for Paragon’s proposals, their benefits to the client’s business, and priorities for execution
  • Develop internal reports for management using Salesforce, or other internal tools
  • Manage client expectations regarding deliverables, schedule, and budget by reviewing and explaining scope documentation and statements of work
  • Be a client advocate on the project team to ensure work in process meets the client’s goals and expectations
  • Conduct and administer client billing each month in collaboration with Paragon’s finance team
  • Define and gather success metrics using client satisfaction surveys

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, preferably in marketing or information technology, or related field
  • Technology experience in digital marketing, account management, and/or technical role in software solutions, or other internet-based environments
  • Experience working on large-scale web-based solutions preferred
  • Ability to perform business analysis, defining requirements for client engagement
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Exceptional client service orientation
  • Exceptional verbal and written skills
  • Ability to foster teamwork and work effectively with Paragon teammates in cross-functional teams
  • Prior consulting / business analysis experience a plus
