As a* Client Experience Account Manager*, you will be responsible for making sure client requests are addressed quickly and effectively, while proactively supporting the full customer lifecycle; from bind to renewal. Since we only hire the best, we only hire account managers who are passionate about delivering a white glove experience to every customer they touch. You'll be surrounded by other team members who are the best at what they do which will just make you even better.
What you'll do

  • Perform all clerical duties related to client services; e.g. answer support contacts over phone, email, and chat.
  • Discuss coverage with clients at renewal and cross-sell / upsell when necessary.
  • Proactively manage account retention by following up on cancellations and re-marketing / rewriting accounts based on client needs.
  • Analyze and compare carrier quotes for proper coverages, terms, and conditions. Make insurance program suggestions.
  • Quote and process service work in various insurance carrier systems and Salesforce.
  • Provide support to the Sales team which may include addressing urgent, time-sensitive requests outside normal business hours (e.g. evenings or weekends).
  • Maintain a high degree of accuracy in agency management and document management systems.

Your background

  • Experienced: You have direct experience working with customers in a high speed P&C insurance environment. You're fast and your quality is even better.
  • Insurance: You have knowledge of insurance coverage and products and navigating carrier rating engines. You have an active P&C insurance license. Bonus if you have experience with some of our carriers and/or dwelling fire.
  • Communication: You possess superior verbal and written communication skills. You can communicate concisely and diplomatically, maintaining a calm demeanor and professional communication.
  • Digital: You have above average computer skills. You're great at independently learning new software quickly and are savvy using online resources.
  • Hungry: You are driven by love of the sale. You're competitive and know how to hustle to get things done quickly for your customer.
  • Self-Driven: You thrive under intense pressure and can manage a large workload with minimal oversight. There is no task too small or beneath you; "that's not my job" is not in your mantra. You know what needs to be done and you do it without being asked. You are comfortable being held accountable to your results.
  • Hungry: You want to roll up your sleeves and hustle – you are not looking for a traditional 9-5 job. You want to make the leap into an early-stage tech company to rapidly accelerate your growth.

Licensing

  • You must currently have an active Property and Casualty insurance license in your resident state.
  • We will take care of getting your non-resident licenses.

Compensation

  • $70,000 annual salary + equity in the company
