East West Tea is seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced Regional Sales Manager – Natural West to join our sales team.

Our Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and customer satisfaction for the organization. They will work in conjunction with broker contacts and distributor reps to execute at account HQ and respective stores. Key internal interactions will include internal team responsible for distributors to his/her customer base, Field Sales Team, Oregon-based Consumer Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales Administration teams, as well as Eugene based Customer Service and Accounting teams.

WHAT YOU’LL OWN:

Relationships and Sales Growth: Time Spent: 60%

  • Deliver Net Sales and distribution growth objectives within established spending targets.
  • Builds and manages direct relationships with customers.
  • Build network of field contacts and cultivate relationships to help achieve account/field objectives.
  • Motivate brokers to help deliver company sales, distribution, and promotional objectives.
  • Build strong internal partners.

Analytics: Time Spent: 15%

  • Develop, implement, & track customer specific promotional programs to achieve volume & distribution objectives.
  • Craft meaningful presentations and 1-pagers to convey messaging to retailers to achieve our objectives and hit goals.
  • Work closely with Trade Marketing and Analytics to ensure programs are in alignment with financial goals.

Process & Admin: Time Spent: 25%

  • Manage customer within Exceedra, promotional entry & maintenance and deduction management.
  • Maintain and submit in a timely manner all tracking sheets, sales reports, shared drive updates, expense reports and related paperwork.
  • Monitor and report on competitive activity on a regular basis.

WHAT’S REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-7 years’ experience in CPG sales, including HQ responsibilities
  • Broker management experience, preferred
  • Experience in the Natural Channel, preferred
  • Ability to work from a home office and travel in the US 40-50% of the time (20-25 trips annually/two trips month)
  • Ideal to live in CA, WA, CO, OR, TX
