WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
  • Develop and sustain a sales growth plan for the sales-territory, which meets or exceeds sales targets. The territory is WA, OR, CA, MT, ID, NV, WY, UT, AK, HI. This will be a 100% remote position with travel up to 60% of the time on average with 2 days a week being overnight travel on average.
  • Complete field marketing and technical responsibility for the ERIFLEX product line within the specified territory.
  • Influence end-user specifications to provide approval for ERIFLEX, emphasizing technical advantages over competitive products.
  • Track all opportunities with target and assigned accounts using Salesforce CRM tools and processes.
  • Build demand for ERIFLEX products through pro-active promotion with end-users; design institutes/consulting companies and other specifying engineers.
  • Identify and drive growth opportunities to close while leading customer relationships.
  • Partner with Marketing for the development of ERIFLEX marketing materials as the need arises.
  • Function as customer/project liaison with Application Engineering and other internal ERIFLEX resources.
  • Provide training and product demonstrations on ERIFLEX products.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution is highly preferred.
  • Ideally 5+ Years’ experience in outside sales selling electrical/electronic products. Experience within the power connection industry is helpful.
  • Experience demonstrating a proven track record of meeting sales objectives with all facets of building and driving successful sales plans.
  • Must have advanced critical thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving skills with excellent written and oral communications skills and the ability to deliver presentations in both small and large group environments.
  • Ability to write reports, recommendations, proposals, and other documents for business management.
  • Must be able to work independently with time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of computer software applications for sales management. Computer proficiency in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Microsoft Teams is required.
  • Excellent business acumen with the ability to gain strong product and product positioning knowledge is helpful.

Pay Transparency
nVent’s pay scale is based on the expected range of total target cash pay for this job and the employee’s work location. Total target cash is comprised of an employee’s base salary and sales incentive target opportunity, when annual sales goals are achieved.
Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
If annual sales performance exceeds annual sales goals, the total target cash received may exceed the pay scale maximum reflected below.
