Job Description:

East Coast Filter, Inc is an Industrial Filter/Filtration distributor seeking an Inside Technical Sales team member to join our Business Development Team. We have a small office environment with a teamwork attitude. The successful candidate will understand the Sales Process, prior experience in Creating and Sending Proposals to Clients and providing Technical Inside Sales Support. Responsibilities include working with existing and new accounts to obtain project information as required, specify appropriate products, work collectively with clients and vendors.

The ideal Team Member will be detail-oriented with a solid history in Proposal Generation, Client Engagement and CRM Maintenance. A Background in Engineering/Technical Support as well as Technical Customer Service Experience is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with vendors to prepare proposals for customers and prospects
  • Following up on projects and proposals
  • Continually reach out and engage with prospects and existing customers
  • Develop, proof-read and send proposals to customers
  • Discussing products with customers and explaining technical concepts and advantages
  • Providing critical customer support by managing inbound and outbound phone calls and emails
  • Maintain accurate customer records by updating account information in our database(s)
  • Contributes to the team's effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Building relationships with clients and encouraging long-term partners
  • Understand the sales process and facilitating sales
  • Direct experience working for a manufacturer's rep organization selling technical products

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Strong Technical/Engineering Background, Client Success Representative, Attention to Detail, Ability to Prioritize Competing Tasks, Moderate to Advanced Skills within the Google Suite, Proposal Generation, Problem Solving in a Fast Paced Environment, Customer Service, Product Representative, Team Player, Organized, Excellent and Clear Written and Verbal Communication Skills, and a Positive Attitude.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
