Optavise, a CNO Financial Group Company, is seeking a Director, Sales Enablement who will be responsible for business model development inside Worksite Division – operating as Optavise. In this role, you will lead the ideation and selection of high-growth worksite sales programs across all parts of the Worksite division, and then direct & lead the implementation of those programs.

This is our opportunity to be part of a small fast-paced, high-growth team helping to set direction and execute on our voluntary benefits sales and growth plans. Working with the SVP, Worksite, this person will drive a strategic growth process from concept through to execution to achieve exponential sales and in-force block growth. You will create, design, direct and deliver programs and projects that enable the Division to achieve its significant insurance growth aspirations (3X in 5 years) as well as driving synergy with our service sales across teams and clients.

As a Director, Sales Enablement, your responsibilities will include:

  • Design, lead, manage, and direct the largest and most complex/visible projects at CNO, with budgets of typically up to $5M (and possibly more) and has a high impact to the CNO organization.
  • Serve as a recognized expert and advisor across the CNO organization. Providing leadership and vision to program resources and stakeholders; demonstrates how to effectively execute and deliver on strategy.
  • Definine program charters, scope, objectives, success metrics and key milestones.
  • Effectively coordinating project implementations across teams using very different approaches.
  • Develop and manage communication plans.
  • Ongoing individual/group feedback to build and manage high performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of various business areas to provide recommendations and solutions to complex business issues.
  • Conducting complex process mappings, recommends and executes process improvements, and manages Agile/sprint-based implementations.
  • Developing plans to address complex risks and issues; recommends solutions and best practices for PMO.
  • Frequently engaging with executives to provide program oversight; provides input on large financial decisions.


The
Director, Sales Enablement position is well-suited for you if you:

  • Have a track record of designing large-scale Worksite division business models and value propositions– products, capabilities, selling systems.
  • Demonstrate in-depth expertise of project management principles and their application across Operations and other CNO functions.
  • Can remain flexible to changing priorities, and are open to new ideas.
  • Solid knowledge of best practices and industry standards to ensure optimal program performance and end results.
  • Exhibit a strong ability to solve the most complex and unique operational problems & recommend solutions and best practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to influence a wide range of internal audiences across the organization, frequently at senior levels.
  • Strong ability to lead and coach others; prior direct reports and performance management experience is preferred.


What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 8 years of directly related experience.
  • At least 10 years of related work or consulting experience, with proven project management experience on large and complex projects in the worksite industry.
  • Solid knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tablaeu.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, etc., and other business-related software.
  • Ability to quickly understand the most important / impactful actions and drive toward them.
  • Ability to influence others to change and adopt new ways of working.


What will set you apart:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business, Operations, or related field is preferred.
  • Proven track record of designing sales / growth programs that deliver top-line results within the employee benefits industry is preferred.


This role is full time work from home (WFH), also known as Remote. This role can be performed from any US based location within the central or eastern time zone. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.

Associates who live within a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Birmingham, Carmel, Chicago, Philadelphia, Orlando and Milwaukee) have access to come into that Office up to 2 days/week, and are encouraged to come into the office at least twice per month.
