Senior Sales Account Manager

Midwest Distribution is in search of a passionate, ambitious, results-driven Senior Sales Account Manager. To take ownership of multiple client accounts and to generate substantial revenue. The Senior Sale’s Account Manager's main responsibilities include: Maintaining a thorough knowledge of our business, our products, as well as developing and implementing strategic plans to grow accounts. To manage and strengthen client relationships while keeping our goals on the forefront.

Ideal Senior Sales Account Manager Candidate MUST have:

  • 5+ years’ experience selling B2B products and services
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Strong record of sustained and significant quota achievement
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to thrive amidst ambiguity and adapt to shifting circumstances
  • Experience working in a result oriented, fast paced, and a collaborative environment
  • Experience and proven success at leading complex, strategic negotiations, and delivery on subsequent agreements
  • Excellent ability to develop and manage relationships with large account portfolios
  • Resourceful and highly organized self-starter with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and operate successfully in a complex, dynamic, fast paced, highly collaborative, and continuously evolving environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities, balancing client deliverables on multiple projects as we as internal obligations
  • Strong experience with email, Salesforce, MS Suite, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, CRM and other communication platforms
  • Eager, persistent, and “whatever it takes” mindset
  • The ability and will to travel for business-related events

Senior Sales Account Manager Core Responsibilities:

  • Following up on leads and winning new clients
  • Drive client retention, renewals, upsells and client satisfaction
  • Focused on ensuring we maintain superior customer service levels, operational excellence and strategic insight
  • Manage customer activity with CRM tools for maximum efficiency and visibility, with carefully executed follow up closure on open issues
  • Developing and implementing strategic plans to manage and grow accounts
  • Retaining clients and building strong, trusting relationships
  • Understanding client needs and identifying new business opportunities within your portfolio.
  • Providing superior customer service and ensuring client satisfaction
  • Communicating and coordinating with internal teams to deliver solutions
  • Identifying opportunities for improvement and proposing new tools and processes
  • Supporting sales teams to improve their performance and reach targets
