Professional Services Sales Account Manager in Baltimore, MD
Our company is seeking a dedicated Sales Account Manager to join our team and help us grow our preventative maintenance customer base in the Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC Metropolitan Areas. As a Sales Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts, selling our full range of services (Preventative Maintenance, Time & Material, and Quoted) to best meet the needs of our customers. We pride ourselves on our commitment to customer satisfaction and our ability to provide value-added solutions to our clients.
Responsibilities
- Prospect for new customers and grow our preventative maintenance customer base.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned accounts.
- Develop and maintain relationships with customers, becoming their preferred mechanical service contractor.
- Conduct site surveys and prepare cost estimates for labor, material, and subcontract requirements.
- Develop relationships with vendors to obtain the best price and value for transactions.
- Coordinate the handoff of sold work to the Service Ops Manager or Construction Project Team.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including the Bid Review Process and new account onboarding.
Qualifications
- High school diploma and higher education or trade experience with four (4) years of industry sales experience, OR any similar combination of education and experience.
- Geographical knowledge of the Maryland, Virginia, Washington DC Metropolitan Areas.
- Excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills, and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deal effectively with difficult people.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and pipeline management software.
- Customer service orientation for both internal and external customers.
- Well-developed budgeting, purchasing, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional business acumen, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a team environment and facilitate win/win outcomes.
- Project Management experience and/or perspective is a plus.
Additional Requirements
Must be willing and available to work additional hours with little or no notice when required.
