Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt

Exciting opportunity for experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager with a heart for serving others in the religious not for profit community. Successful candidates must be able to multi-task, work independently in a fast-paced and growing professional office environment.

Experience working with Commercial Lines is required. Additionally, our ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years of account management experience and has worked with Applied (EPIC).

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must have the ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities with an exceptional attention to detail. They must be well organized, reliable and demonstrate the ability to collaborate in a team environment. Must be self-motivated and willing to continually grow their knowledge in our niche market.

Key Responsibilities:

• New business: Assist the producer with information gathering, applications, quoting, preparing proposals, inputting information into agency system and carrier systems.
• Renewals: Maintain Expiration Report, meet with producer to plan each renewal, gather renewal information, applications, obtain renewal quotes, prepare proposal, update agency system throughout renewal process.
• Customer Service: Day-to-day verbal and written communication with clients to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Answer questions regarding coverages, assisting with claims, policy changes, and premium breakdowns. Scan and attach all documents in agency system.
• Quickly respond to customer and carrier inquiries by phone or email.
• Maintain detailed and accurate account files.
• Be available to client, producer, support staff, and management during normal business hours.
• Communicate in a positive manner with ChurchWest staff as well as with our external customers to contribute to a positive, pleasant work environment.
• Protect confidentiality of client information.
• Maintain a high level of knowledge and skills that are required to service the clients effectively.
• Receive continuous training on all systems used in your day-to-day work such as our agency management system EPIC, and carrier related systems. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience: High school diploma or equivalent
• Have a least 2 years of related Commercial Lines Insurance experience
• Currently hold a California Property & Casualty - Broker - Agent license
• Maintain California Department of Insurance Property & Casualty license in good standing completing continuing education courses as required and in a timely basis.
