The Role:

• Oversees the development and execution of the organization's organic new business growth efforts (defined as new business that is not reliant on LCS deployment of capital).
• Responds to marketing qualified leads (MQL), assesses potential new opportunities for organic business growth, evaluates specific new business opportunities, and collaborates with the national marketing department to develop strategies for targeting potential accounts.
• Develops strategies for assessing client needs and positioning the organization's products or services as potential solutions.
• Attends conferences, meetings, and industry events to stimulate help referrals and gather competitive intelligence.
• Responds to and prepares written proposals.
• Tracks business development activities and reports on results to management.
• Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.

Experience:

• Has extensive experience within the senior housing industry
• Bachelor's degree in related field
10 years + of experience, including prior management experience.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
• Ability to effectively represent the organization to outside stakeholders.
• Excellent strategic agility and the ability to establish and implement effective strategies across and organization.
• Excellent decision making and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Good strategic planning skills.
Competency working with Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
