Compensation:

  • The base salary for the Sales Representative - Project Consultant role is in the range of $85,000 to $95,000 annually.
  • In addition to the base salary, there is a generous bonus structure that can significantly increase earnings, with the potential to reach $140,000 or more annually.

Responsibilities:

- Leading customers through the sales process, from point of order to successful close-out on site.

- Managing internal stakeholders, including Schedulers and Project Managers, to ensure projects are built and installed correctly.

- Keeping customers updated throughout the process, confirming finishes and details, and coordinating with Operations for project processing.

- Conducting site meetings and pre-start meetings to align all stakeholders on project delivery methods for larger projects.

- Maintaining regular communication with customers regarding agreed delivery dates during the production period.

- Attending the first day of installation for larger projects to ensure a thorough understanding of project details.

- Conducting ad hoc site visits as necessary to meet project requirements.

- Adhering to budgets and agreed timeframes to ensure project success.

- Overseeing the commissioning phase, ensuring critical systems are signed off by the client.

- Creating and sending Post-Project packs to clients for their Operating & Maintenance information.

- Representing our client as the face of the company, delivering excellent service and upholding the core values of Happy Customers, Perfect Products & Winning Team.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in B2B sales is required, preferably in the construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of Division 8 (Doors and Frames) and Division 10 (Specialties) products is important.

- Willingness and ability to travel, including out of state, as required by project needs.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and internal stakeholders.

- Excellent organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

- Proactive problem-solving skills to address any challenges that may arise during the sales process.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Proficiency in project management tools and software is a plus.

- Knowledge of the construction industry and project lifecycle is desirable.
