Fantastic comp plan. Realistic year 1 target compensation is $55,000 - $100,000 at plan. Compensation is based on salary, commission & bonuses.

Responsibilities for the Territory Account Manager

  • Responsibility to locate and develop new business opportunities within a territory for each of the company’s product segments
  • Communication with all current and potential customers on a regular basis and oversee all sales activity within the assigned territory
  • Ability to report on all sales activity, via CRM and manage business through that technical platform
  • Requires frequent communication with inside support
  • Ability to manage workload and respond to customers in a timely manner, including follow-up contact for potential leads
  • Ability to obtain a broad understanding of product segments and their related functional capacities
  • Making outbound telemarketing & cold calls to prospective & current customers
  • Achieving sales targets and contributing to team goals.
  • Cold Calling on business to initiate sales conversations
  • Identifying and targeting potential business clients
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients
  • Presenting and demonstrating products/services
  • Negotiating and closing sales deals
  • Keeping accurate records of sales activities and results
  • Staying current with industry trends and market conditions.

Requirements for the Territory Account Manager

  • Possess a college degree or 3-5 years of B2B sales experience
  • Competitive Positive Attitude
  • Ability to negotiate, basic contract negotiation, basic computer skills
  • Ability to present a professional image with business acumen
  • Must have a strong ability to self-initiate tasks and set goals
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle rejection and persist in sales efforts
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven sales experience in a B2B setting
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients

Demands for the Territory Account Manager

  • Full-time position, salary plus commission. Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • In person meetings and prospecting within a defined geography or book of business in the Columbus Market and surrounding areas required daily.
  • Excellent Organizational and Time Management Skills to maximize effectiveness.
  • Multiple Competitors in a fast paced work environment.
