LEMOINE, a Great Place to Work®-Certified company, is seeking a Business Development Manager for our Disaster Restoration Business Unit. The Business Development Manager develops and manages the processes of identifying opportunities, developing relationships, and securing profitable work for the firm.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify viable potential clientele, establish a lasting relationship, and build on that relationship to drive business traffic.
  • Generate leads and sell new accounts for disaster restoration.
  • Manages database of sales and proposal information; tracks ongoing, awarded, lost, and past bids, contracts, and proposals.
  • Pursuing leads after hours when disaster strikes to offer relief and assistance.
  • Provides client-specific opportunity assessment, market evaluation, market research, financial evaluation, and other marketing needs required throughout the proposal preparation and delivery process.
  • Administers Customer Relationship Management (CRM).
  • Travel Required to major disaster sites in various areas within the region.


Required Qualifications
:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field is required.
  • 4+ years of experience in Business Development and/or Account Management, with an established book of business, preferably in the Restoration industry.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex sales processes that involve multiple team members and multiple decision makers (primarily C-suite decision makers).
  • Demonstrated network of influential people to include developers, owners, owners' representatives, architects, engineers, and other professional services relationships that could be leveraged to create business opportunities.
  • Engaging and highly effective interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills that cultivate and grow lasting business relationships both internally and externally.
  • Exhibit strong business acumen, skills, maturity, and the ability to work effectively with others.
  • Highly developed organizational and planning skills, time management skills, and written/oral communications skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including, but not limited to Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
