The Strategy & Innovation Department at the Boston University Questrom School of Business invites applications for a tenure track Assistant Professor in Strategy & Innovation, with an emphasis on Corporate Strategy or Governance. Pending Provost budgetary approval, this position will begin July 1, 2024 for the Fall semester at Boston University.

The S&I Department places particular emphasis on the study of innovation and strategy in different kinds of organizations and the role of technological change in creating new industries and shaping existing ones. Prospective candidates must demonstrate the ability to produce original and innovative scholarly work of the highest possible quality and impact; a PhD degree in business, management, or other closely-related areas from a research university is required. Candidates should also possess demonstrated teaching abilities at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Special consideration will be given to applicants whose research focuses on areas of strategic emphasis for the Questrom School of Business (such as health and life sciences, digital technologies, and sustainability and social impact), who can contribute to building the department’s capabilities in strategic management, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and global business.
