As an Outside Sales Manager, you build lasting relationships with New South Associates, vendors, and customers in your markets. You are an independent and solutions-oriented sales professional with a can-do attitude and a commitment to continuously aim higher.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Execute on sales plans for assigned geographic area with strategic initiatives in partnership with sales leadership.
• Generate leads through attending professional events and building and maintaining relationships in specified geographic markets.
• Serve as a solutions-based partner for our customers from the initial stages all the way through the buying relationship
• Stay up to date on all products and services to best service customers

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Sales Representative
• Successful sales track record in a material supply company
• Proven consultative and relationship-based sales success
• Basic computer skills and simple CRM Platform experience

Preferred Skills

• Building materials/construction industry experience, know-how, and contacts
