Information Technology Client Partner in Chicago, IL
Responsibilities:
- Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities with direct advertisers and their supporting agencies, targeting key verticals and markets.
- Develop and execute a strategic plan to penetrate new accounts, effectively breaking down doors and building strong relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to understand clients' needs, objectives, and pain points, and present tailored solutions to address their unique challenges.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams, including marketing and sales support, to develop compelling proposals, pitches, and presentations for prospective clients.
- Drive the entire sales process, from initial outreach and discovery meetings to contract negotiation and closing deals, ensuring a seamless transition of new accounts to the account management team.
- Meet and exceed assigned revenue targets, consistently striving for excellence in sales performance and seeking opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the existing client base.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with clients, serving as their trusted advisor and ensuring their satisfaction with Adlook's solutions and services.
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of hunters to support your book of business, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a high-performance culture within the team.
- Set clear goals and targets for the team, monitor their performance, and provide ongoing coaching and development to optimize their sales effectiveness.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination, enabling the team to deliver exceptional results and exceed targets.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- Proven track record of successfully acquiring new accounts and exceeding sales targets in the digital advertising industry.
- Strong prospecting and business development skills, with a demonstrated ability to break down doors and generate new business opportunities.
- In-depth knowledge of the programmatic advertising landscape, DSPs, and the overall ad tech ecosystem.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate Adlook's value proposition and close deals.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a strong drive for success and a hunter mentality.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, effectively managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Willingness to travel as required to meet clients and attend industry events.
- Type A personality - driven, success hungry, challenger.
Preferred Qualifications (Additional Skills):
- Experience with leading ad tech platforms such as The Trade Desk (TTD), Google Marketing Platform, or Facebook Ads Manager.
- Knowledge of advanced targeting capabilities, audience segmentation, and optimization strategies.
- Familiarity with data-driven marketing, audience measurement, and attribution models.
- Understanding of industry regulations, privacy policies, and compliance guidelines.
