About the Team
Uber Advertising’s vision is to offer the most marketplace-centric advertising to connect Uber's platform users (eaters, riders, and earners) with advertisers. Uber Advertising’s platform brings together location based and shopping data with closed loop attribution across its mobility and delivery channels for performance and brand campaigns, enabling advertisers to engage with our consumers through the entire marketing funnel - from awareness through purchase to loyalty and advocacy for Uber users.
At Uber, we have set up a new Uber Advertising division to spearhead the growth of its advertising business. By building a dedicated advertising organization and a suite of advertising products, Uber Advertising will enable merchants and brands to reach and convert its highly engaged user base across its Mobility and Delivery platforms in 32 markets.

About the Role
As the Head of US&C SMB Sales, Uber Advertising, you will build a world class sales and account management organization responsible for creating mutually beneficial ads partnerships with our top SMB Restaurant partners. You will be responsible for developing and executing an Ad sales strategy that delivers on our SMB partners’ marketing objectives and exceeds Uber’s revenue targets across our Mobility and Delivery advertising platforms. You will partner closely with our US&C SMB leaders to ensure you are collectively delivering on our partners’ and Uber’s goals. You will report to the Global Head of Ad Sales and Account Management.

What the Candidate Will Need / Bonus Points

- What the Candidate Will Do -

  • Build and lead a world class sales and account management organization responsible for delivering on our SMB Restaurant partners’ marketing objectives and exceeding Uber Ads’ revenue targets across our Mobility and Delivery advertising platforms.
  • Develop and execute our US&C SMB Ad Sales strategy
  • Partner with regional and local leadership to align on sales structure, revenue targets and KPIs.
  • Work with Product Marketing and PR to develop a US&C Uber Ads marketing and comms plan inclusive of scalable sales collateral, B2B marketing and PR plan
  • Collaborate with Ads Platforms, Product Eng and Product Ops teams to inform ads surfaces/inventory, formats, targeting and pricing needed to enable advertisers to engage audiences across advertiser goals of awareness, trial and conversion.

- Basic Qualifications -

  • Minimum of 10 years of digital advertising sales experience.
  • Minimum of 8 years of digital advertising sales leadership experience in digital advertising sales or SMB-focused sales / partnerships
  • Proven track record of building and managing a multi-million dollar advertising business

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $161,000 per year - $179,000 per year. For New York, NY-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $179,000 per year - $199,000 per year. For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is $179,000 per year - $199,000 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award, sales bonuses & other types of comp.
