The Club at Corazon is currently seeking an ambitious and highly skilled Wedding and Event Sales Manager with a track record of exceptional, transformative sales and marketing practices. In this role, you will increase productivity, inspire, motivate, and optimize our company's market share. You will have tremendous opportunities to develop innovative policies, procedures, and campaigns that shape the future of our organization. Candidates for this role will be kind, creative, charismatic, knowledgeable, and exceptionally well-versed in the latest sales and marketing techniques as well as tried-and-true practices. Qualified candidates need to have an understanding of hospitality and event coordinating, along with a focus on both sales and marketing.

This position is Salary + Commission - Salary Range is $24,000 - $32,000 & commissions will range from $40,000/yr on the low-end to $85,000/yr at max potential

Responsibilities:

  • Generate a definitive sales strategy to meet and/or exceed departmental revenue goals consistently
  • Responsible for selling all private functions, including meeting with the clients to determine needs, meeting those needs, and exceeding their expectations through detailed communication
  • Networking inside and outside the Club to obtain "leads" and build relationships with new and existing clients
  • Attend all required weekly Dept Head Meetings
  • Work with the Executive Chef, Food/Beverage Director, and Wedding/Event Manager to establish profitable and competitive private event menus that meet clients' needs
  • Work closely with the Club FIT Gym Director to foster relationships with new and existing members
  • Achieve and maintain mandated sales standards as set by the owners
  • Sell all private and public events, and corporate gym memberships.
  • Maintain Club’s social media pages consistent with our current strategy. Update, engage regularly and strategize for better and more efficient sales outcomes.
  • Maintain the Club’s website for updates on events, classes, hours etc. - (Square Space)
  • Maintains record of financials and due dates of invoices.
  • Timely follow-up with customers and efficient sales tactics
  • Responsible for all marketing and sales activities, from lead generation through contract closing
  • Maintain primary responsibility of sales with acquisition of new business. Execute the operational aspects of generating proposals, contract completion, and customer correspondence.
  • Will be responsible for running and assisting some events
  • Responsible for customer experience
  • Must attend house events for content creation in marketing but also rapport building and sales with visitors/customers.
  • Develop relationships with industry contacts, company contacts, and other prospects and present Company range of capabilities.
  • Responsible for creating ads for house events to market to members and non-members
  • Must be able to run some house events

Job Requirements:

  • Two years experience of Catering/Private Events sales in applicable markets
  • Solid understanding of event revenue generation
  • Proven track record of sales performance, and prospecting programs that drive event revenue
  • Proven ability in leadership, communication, and negotiating skills
  • High energy and outgoing personality
  • Organizational and time management skills with an attention to detail
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Word, and Excel
  • Team player able to foster relationships with Members, Employees, Partners, and guests
  • Experience in creating ads with software such as: Canva, Adobe, Pages or etc
  • Experience and understanding in consistent branding with Social Media pages
  • Be able to create content for marketing and social media purposes
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Must have a flexible schedule to cater to sales meeting needs and attend events.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
