POSITION SUMMARY


Facilitate the sales and administrative processes for Property and Casualty (P&C) clients on assigned accounts, working closely with producer.



ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Manage and market an assigned group of accounts.
  • Foster relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Control and coordinate the implementation process of new business and renewals, including renewal meetings, on boarding, and delivery of administrative resource materials.
  • Work effectively with the producer managing monthly renewal lists, while keeping the producer updated on major changes during the policy term.
  • Manage the renewal marketing process, coordinating with producer to develop proposals and recommendations. Negotiate renewal with carrier. Deliver recommendations to clients as needed or accompany producer in making presentations.
  • Processing correspondence from clients and carriers, policy changes, managing cancellation notices, certificates, audits, invoicing proposals.
  • Ensure clients are up-to-date on compliance requirements and industry changes through meetings, webinars, legislative updates and other resources.
  • Liaise between client and carrier, and between client and P&C agency staff on escalated service issues and problem solving, assuring clients their concerns remain active until verifiably complete and confirmed.
  • Make proactive, regularly scheduled courtesy service calls to assigned accounts.
  • Provide administrative support on other tasks as they arise, such as assigned special projects, development of new ideas, services and other projects, as requested.
  • Maintain current knowledge of the insurance industry and sales ideas through regular attendance at workshops, seminars, literature reviews and/or formal continuing education.
  • Perform other duties, tasks, responsibilities, and projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


  • Active Property and Casualty Insurance License
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Property and Casualty Insurance plans, markets, and carriers.
  • Strong knowledge of Property and Casualty industry, and ability to manage multiple concurrent projects with shifting priorities.
  • Transportation insurance experience, preferred
  • Ability to summarize carrier loss statements to create premium/loss exhibits for presentation to carrier and clients.
  • Ability to review information, make decisions, and manage time effectively with minimal to no supervision
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Ability to deal with confidential matters appropriately.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
