We are seeking an Account Executive to join our team and make an immediate impact. This full-time position offers the opportunity to be part of a fast growing company and gain valuable sales expertise. We provide sales training and development for individuals who want to build a career in sales and are committed to personal and professional growth. The Account Executive 1 will be responsible for new account acquisition and business development by driving lead generation, building a sales pipeline, generating and closing sales opportunities. This individual will work directly with customers and strategic partners to align technology solutions with business needs, functionally and financially justify the solutions, provide customer support through sales and solutions deployment


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and deliver unique value proposition around Racksquared’s hosting solutions
  • Identifying and developing relationships with key decision makers across various prospect organizations, organizational mapping and uncovering business needs that meet Racksquared’s vision for the future of data center services
  • Build and maintain relationships with customer decision makers and influencers within the assigned region
  • Educate customers on Racksquared’s hosting solutions and develops a working knowledge of data center hosting services/solutions and markets
  • Maintains market and competitive knowledge to ensure credibility with customers
  • Delivers sales plans, pipeline management updates, technical updates and road maps to C – level executives
  • Experience managing and progressing complex, sometimes long, sales cycles from initiation to close

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent training with 2 to 4 years sales experience
  • A highly motivated individual looking to succeed and advance in a sales career
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Good computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce.com or other CRM
  • Ability to increase sales and market share and develop business through multiple marketing and sales techniques including but not limited to cold calling, conducting in person meetings, and partnering with vendors or manufacturers
  • Maintain a targeted understanding of customers pain points and showing the ability to establish customer needs, buying cycles, and creating strong relationships to effectively drive sales and repeat business
  • Willing to work with engineering team to accurately scope projects to ensure we are proposing the best solution
  • Maintains relationships with all levels of customer contacts, but has a focus on executive level (Director and above) relationships within both IT and the business line owners
  • Perform proposal development and prepares sales information for customers
  • Attends trade shows, marketing events, and performs continuous marketing efforts to new and existing customers
  • Participates in ongoing sales training to ensure satisfactory performance, improve sales skills and stays aware of emerging technologies
