What You’ll do
We are seeking an Account Manager to join our team in Boise, Idaho.
We partner with industry leading providers such as Cisco, Microsoft, Crestron, Genetec, AXIS and many more to develop and deliver integrated solutions. This position will provide support to project delivery engineers within our Safe and Smart Workplace practice, assisting them with building Bill of Materials (BOMs), managing quotes and tracking delivery of product for customer projects. Day-to-day responsibilities may include:

  • Working with manufacturers and distributors to understand partner programs
  • Partnering with distributors on cost effective and procurement methodologies
  • Collaborating with CompuNet internal service delivery and finance teams to ensure project closure and customer invoicing information is delivered in a timely manner.
  • Receiving shipments and staging equipment for on-going projects.
  • Resolving internal and external technical support requests or issues related to product selection, application, specification, installation, etc.
  • Handling manufacturer and distributor processes for quotation, receipt of order, order entry, shipment and delivery of order, and resolution of return requests and quality issues.
  • Interacting with customers and team via phone and email.
  • Maintaining expert level product knowledge and application.
  • Listening to, understanding, and conveying customer requirements.
  • Providing status of ongoing projects and future projects.
  • Communicating professionally with clients and co-workers.

Who you are
You’re a strong team player that is invested in helping your customers succeed and contributing to a great team. You have the following knowledge, skills, abilities and/or education:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in sales support and/or customer service.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency with CRM/Database tools.
  • Strong organizational skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail and excellent follow-up.
  • Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Our ideal candidate would also have the following preferred knowledge, skills, abilities and/or education:

  • Proven Project Management skills.
  • Working understanding of network communications technology – Internet, Intranet, VPN, TCP/IP, Ethernet, etc. and/or audio video systems and/or video surveillance and access control systems.
