Inside Customer Relations Team Member

Description: Becker Safety and Supply’s Inside Customer Relations Specialist is responsible for all inside sales and customer service related functions including but not limited to: helping walk in customers with safety product inquiries, finalizing sales at the Point of Sale, answering customer phone calls and emails, assisting Outside Customer Relations Team Members, and other duties as assigned. The position requires outstanding customer service and sales skills, an aptitude for technology, and the ability to learn quickly. This position requires daily interactions with our customers and team members in person and via phone/email.

Job Summary

• 40 Hours Per Week (Monday – Friday, Occasional Saturdays)
• Works in the Becker Safety Store in Greeley, CO
• Reports directly to the Inside Customer Relations Coordinator

Main Responsibilities

• Greet and assist all walk-in customers and guests
• Answer phones/emails and assist with customer inquiries
• Educate customers about Becker Safety products and services
• Drive sales and hit regular sales metrics
• Complete in-store sales using the Point of Sale system & DDI

Other Responsibilities (The company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.)

• Maintain a clean and organized storefront, fitting rooms, and desk area
• Assist customers with returns and exchanges
• Attend Team Meetings and Trainings
• Promote Becker Safety Loyalty Program
• Process new customer contact information
• Manage customer Workwear Program balances
• Manage Will Call pickups and customer billing
• Create Sales Orders for Special Order Items
• Balance cash registers and manage change orders
• Assist Outside Customer Relations Team Members (When Applicable)
• Enter Credit Card Receipts (When applicable)
• Close the store (lock doors, turn off lights) each night upon leaving
• Other Duties as Assigned
• *No regular travel requirements for this position – Occasional training opportunities may require travel.

• Education: High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to pass background check and drug test.
• Preferred knowledge of Flame Resistant clothing and other safety products
• Ability to work in conjunction with team goals and values

Compensation
