Sales – Territory Account Manager – Olive Branch, MS

voestalpine eifeler Coatings is hiring a Territory account manager for our new location in Olive Branch, MS. As part of the voestalpine High Performance Metals division within the voestalpine group, we are a strong leader in the development and application of high quality, innovative surface enhancements in Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) coatings. The position reports directly to the vice president of voestalpine eifeler Coatings. The ideal candidate should be highly motivated with a flexible work schedule and willing to do what it takes to complete the job. We are seeking an experienced sales professional from the tooling industry (preferred), to develop opportunities in Medical, Die casting, Cutting tools, and Metal forming.

Job Responsibilities

· Responsible for preparing, coordinating, and executing sales visits with respect to overall product and market strategies

· Initiate and coordinate sales development in the states of TN, AR, MS with surrounding states as required by other potential leads/opportunities

· Responsible for establishing and maintaining existing customer and growth with prospecting of new opportunities while coordinating with the local production manager to understand the needs required.

· Achievement of objectives with respect to customer service, value added pricing, field sales calls, sales product training, market intelligence, sales forecasting and other sales and marketing functions consistent with corporate and departmental plans

· Responsible for consistent and positive growth throughout the territory assigned

· Responsible for the joint direction of the Mississippi facility sales activities

· Assists in representing the company with key customers at trade shows, events, and seminars as required/requested

· Maintain strong work ethics, culture of honesty, and respect for all co-workers by always setting a positive example

· Work closely with inside sales and production to maintain a positive influence on all customer accounts and prospects

· Provide timely and quality service and support to all internal/external customers. Independently seeks and identifies problems and constraints blocking projects towards your objectives. Consistently develops creative and effective solutions to those opportunities

· Additional duties may also be required not listed above to include, but not limited to help with production, tooling pickup/delivery, traveling outside of assigned territory to assist with other sales team members, and other duties not listed that require customer acquisition and/or production support activities

Position Requirements

· A minimum of 5+ years sales experience in PVD coatings and/or industrial tooling segments within the industries of die casting, stamping, cutting tools, and medical

· Account management and forecasting will be required and documented

· Basic knowledge of customer reporting systems (CRM, Salesforce, etc.)

· Ability to drive customers to a technical way of thinking

· Basic knowledge of metallurgical and heat treat concepts

· Highly motivated, self-started, and well organized

· Skilled at technical presentations for engineering and high-level management

· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

· Industrial tooling experience a plus (stamping/forming, cutting tools)

· Ability to speak at all levels of engagement

· Strong written and verbal communication skills a must

· Ability to read prints preferred

· Ability to work well with people of different views while maintaining a TEAM environment

· Travel required – (up to 50%, based on customer acquisition requirements), both domestic and international, if required.

Olive Branch, MS and Memphis, TN, including surrounding areas.
