We are looking for a talented and competitive Inside Sales Representative that thrives in a quick sales cycle environment. An inside sales rep will play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects and closing sales.

Responsibilities

Revenue Generation:

  • Generating incremental revenue for the North America Sales team by providing sales coverage in assigned regions.
  • Achieve annual sales revenue quota as assigned while maintaining an acceptable level of sales margin.
  • Continually build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities providing growth in the assigned territory while maintaining day-to-day relationships with existing accounts.
  • Collaborate and support the regional sales teams to build pipelines and close opportunities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of all pipeline opportunities.

Customer Relationships:

  • Understand industry trends and customer needs analysis. Develop detailed needs analysis inquiry for new and existing customers. Uncover information about funding and trends that will drive Boxlight partnership opportunities and marketing campaigns. Through this research and analysis, you will align Boxlight solutions to resolve customer issues and to build long-term relationships and future opportunities. You will take a team approach, bringing in subject matter experts to solidify opportunities.
  • Support regional and national demand generation activities through inbound and outbound communications, respond to leads, and do outreach to existing customers.
  • Provide timely responses to customer and reseller partner sales inquiries.
  • Managing relationships with current customers and partners to ensure they are fully aware of new products, initiatives, solutions etc. to drive incremental revenue through our Channel Partners.
  • Demonstrate Boxlight values and vision relative to teamwork, stabilizing workload and day-to-day operations.
  • Maintain sales metrics for customer outreach: call volume, demonstrations, meetings, and referrals to partners and Video Demonstration Center.
  • Maintain complete documentation of all account and partner-related activities in company CRM including both NetSuite and HubSpot.
  • Provide reporting as required by Inside Sales Manager for Regional Managers and VP of Sales.
  • Demonstrate complete knowledge of products.
  • 10% travel to conferences may be requested when traveling permits.

Education/Experience

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent
  • Experience selling in the education or technology market.
  • Technical aptitude to explain new technologies to school districts.
  • Ability to exceed daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
  • Organizational skills.
  • Interpersonal skills – effective verbal and written social skills.
  • Selling Experience – Ability to ask probing questions and explain solutions to customers and reseller partners.
  • Proven track record meeting goals related to quota, product mix, and attach rates.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Team player works well with internal resources and Channel Partners in assigned territory.
  • Familiar with the latest developments within the Education Technology market.
