Farmers Insurance – District Office - Associate Agent

We are looking to add two (2) new Associate Agents to our award-winning District Office in Tualatin. As an Associate Agent you will market, sell, and service insurance for individuals, families, and small businesses. You are business owner from day one, everything you sell, you own. You have flexible hours and receive hands-on daily training and support from our highly experienced District Office team. You will earn a monthly base stipend and commission based on your sales production. You will also receive sales leads and tools to help you have fast start.

We consider our Associate Agents our future Agency Owner leaders. As you develop as an Associate Agent you will be considered for opportunities to acquire an established agency or open a new agency location with the financial support from Farmers. This can occur anywhere from 6 months to 24 months.

Training and Development (includes but not limited to):

• Sales lead tracking and management using CRM tools
• Multi-channel prospecting including substantial phone and email follow-up
• Customer suitability and insurance coverage consultation
• Development and presentation of insurance proposals
• Establish and support client relationships with timely and exceptional service
• Agency office operations including fiduciary responsibilities, staffing, team management
• Professional networking including social media, business to business, referral groups, etc.

Qualified candidate demonstrates:

• At least one (1) year of sales and professional office experience
• Ability to obtain or already carry insurance licenses
• Entrepreneurial mindset and willingness to take risks
• Genuine thirst to learn to be mentored
• Critical thinking, intuitive thought processes, resourceful solution finding
• Great self-starter and operate with a sense of urgency
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• College degree preferred but not required

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
