Nemko USA, Inc. is currently seeking Inside Sales to work at its Round Rock, TX location.
Nemko USA is a Product Safety, Electromagnetic Compatibility, and
Reliability testing laboratory serving clients for worldwide regulatory approvals. Products tested come from a variety of industries, including information
technology, medical, defense/aviation, energy, consumer products, and industrial equipment.

Responsibilities and area of work

  • The Inside Sales “IS” position is intended to work in equal partnership with the “Outside Salesperson” (“OS”) position, so that they may jointly grow new sales business across Nemko services, consistent with Nemko’s core values, vision and mission statement.
  • Actively, and equally, partner their efforts with an assigned Outside Salesperson(s) (“OS”) to grow the business, providing both front-end and back-end support on sales activities.
  • When contacted by a customer regarding a current project, the Inside Salesperson (“IS”) facilitates communication between the customer and the relevant department (i.e. Service Delivery, Lab, IMAP, etc.).
  • Support front-end sales by building out the quote that is to be reviewed by the Outside Salesperson (“OS”) and sent to the client. This includes the “OS” providing the assigned “IS” project relevant documentation and opportunity information, so that the “IS” can take a proactive approach in defining the costs with resources, tools, and parties responsible to produce a quote for “OS” final verification. The “OS” is responsible for providing initial file pathing to quote/project documentation and opportunity information. The OS and IS may work together in this effort in situations of high business volume. Final price and scope determination is intended to be a collaborative effort between the “IS” and “OS”.
  • Perform the handover process of lead-to-cash (L2C) by sending project instructions for closed won opportunities to the relevant departments. This includes the “OS” providing the assigned “IS” with needed project documentation necessary to close-win project on behalf of the “OS” (i.e. RFQ, Tech spec sheet, pricing verification, internal engineering email on scope, purchase order, final copy of quote, etc.), as applicable to the requirements of the project.
  • The “IS” is to work with the “OS” to ensure that the CRM accounts and pipeline are accurately up to date, noted, and forecasted correctly. While this is a coordinated effort, the “IS” will be the party chiefly responsible for pipeline accuracy.
  • The “IS” is to enter all new account information, and contact information, into Salesforce when requested by “OS” or Sales management.
  • Facilitate leads from inbound marketing (i.e. HubSpot) so that they are addressed in a timely manner, either independently or with the “OS”.
  • Inside Salesperson (IS) is to be party to initial screening of potential sales opportunities in coordination with assigned Outside Salesperson(s) (OS) and Sales Management, as needed.
  • The pairing of an Inside Salesperson with an Outsides Salesperson will be done by Sales Management. Sales roles may be modified at any time, and OS & IS pairings may be modified at any time, based on business need and Sales Management discretion.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Preferred Sales experience in the TIC / Compliance or Global Market Access industry, or a tech industry
  • 4-year bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, ideally with an emphasis in a business/marketing related field.
  • At least 2-5 years of working experience in an account management or sales representative role.
  • Must have proven success track record of territory/sales objective growth and individual account growth
  • Must have trade show experience and demonstrated cold/warm calling skills and business development track record
  • Preferred to have a basic understanding of the Testing, Inspection and Certification (TIC) Industry.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft office suite
  • Must have the ability to travel to/work onsite at our Austin, Texas location, as well as work remotely
  • Self-starter, self-motivated, assertive, analytical thinking, and able to work autonomously.
  • Excellent work ethic and the ability to learn complex technical requirements quickly.
  • Perform well as an individual and as a team player.
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills in English and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Must have the capacity to travel domestically and internationally, and must have reliable transportation.
  • Knowledge of CRM software (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
